Now we come on to Patient G, an elderly man with mental health problems, who was kept locked in his side ward, and ignored by all of the nursing staff on his ward.
His crying was piteous to hear, throughout both day and night, and all he received was derision from the staff, without exception.
This story made my blood boil, when I was given a first hand account of the appalling treatment perpetrated upon such a particularly vulnerable patient!!!
All this poor chap needed was caring attention!!
