Since going through the nightmare of my Oxycontin/Oxycodone prescription two years ago, I have been left with recurring panic attacks, anxiety attacks comprising hot and cold sweats, shaking, and emotional paranoia.
I suffer too from insomnia, which when I do sleep sporadically, leads to terrifying nightmares, which I have never experienced prior to being prescribed Oxycontin, as well as random cramps and twitches in many parts of my body, including my arms, ribs, and varying parts of my feet and legs at any given time of day or night.
Another consequence of this horrifying experience, has left me suffering from numerous episodes of blurred vision, again seemingly at random, leaving me to struggle at times with both reading and writing.
I am obliged to take medication prescribed by my G.P. as a direct result of this horrifying ongoing journey through what I can only describe as “Hell”.
My warning to you all is to know, if you are ever prescribed Oxycontin, or its derivatives, just what a horrendous legacy this horrible “prescription” drug will leave you with, as it has left me, living in a dark space you cannot get out of, and with no knowledge of whether you will ever feel “normal” again.
